Void Spike damage from Idol of Yogg-Saron reduced by 35%. Mind Flay: Insanity damage increased by 10%. Mind Spike: Insanity damage increased by 10%. Shadow Word: Death damage increased by 10%. We’re bringing down some of its sources of AoE and increasing the damage of some direct damage to offset this in single target. Kill Shot damage increase does not apply to PvP combat.ĭevelopers’ notes: Shadow has been overperforming in AoE environments. This does not apply to PvP combat.Īimed Shot, Kill Shot, and Rapid Fire damage increased by 10%. Melee autoattack damage increased by 15%. These adjustments will be applied to the live game with scheduled weekly maintenance on 28 June in this region.Īll damaging abilities increased by 6.5%.Ĭhaos Strike/Annihilation damage increased by 15%. Working from player feedback and internal data, we’ve developed the following class tuning changes to address several over- and under-performing classes. So, our stat priority needs to be extremely generic and it is.īlizzard have announced a big class tuning pass coming with next week's reset, covering 8 classes in PvE with a lot of buffs and 6 in PvP, as well as a nerf to the Gladiator PvP trinket. As you could see in your testing, stats are close in value, so you usually just want to go with items that have the highest item level. You also need to keep in mind that there will be fluctuations in stats between talent choices and gear levels, but while you can easily change talent between encounters, the vast majority of players is not going to change gear between encounters just to satisfy a stat priority. The question I'd like to answer is whether to treat Mastery as the go to stat or whether to give Multistrike more room as it seems to affect single target the most. I'm already working on a more detailed spreadsheet with multiple scenarios to analyze the stat weights properly. This is ignoring all corruption affects which depends on what boss for progression or content choice.I ran the simulations mainly for single target as that is what I am focusing on.Īlso Flame Shock in multitarget scenarios is probably what pushes Mastery ahead?Įdit: I see the gaps in my simulations and reasoning. cloaks and rings sockets are very strong. sockets strength depends on what piece its on. but until you actually max out your gear its probably safe to equip anything that is an ilvl increase to boost your dps in general. The only real answer on stats is to sim it. it functions well in single target and cleave, really only swapping final verdict for zeal when i enter dungeons. I like the 3x lights decree build cause it involves less swapping of talents for dungeons versus raid. its not as clearly as meta anymore i believe but it might still be viable as a single target build. it was a crit heavy build using CLF major essence, excecution sentence and inquisition and 3x expurgation. The eternal palace build was really fun too and I enjoyed it.

mastery does affect the damage from lights decree in this build so it is strong but with two avengers mights procing mastery during lights decree mastery on static gear becomes slightly less valuable for that if im not mistaken. The build i’m aiming for right now is to get 3x lights decree 2x avenging might and 1x empyrian power for filling the global cooldown in rotation. like others said stats can vary wildly even between two paladins running the same talent build but with different gear sets. you can play what you want.īut that does’t mean if you are concerned for damage you shouldn’t sim or find a good talent build that suits you. for PVE ret doesn’t really have a universal stat priority which i really like.
